WA: Perth lawyer fined for throwing himself on PM's car

A Perth lawyer who damaged JOHN HOWARD's car during a violent protest at the weekend
.. has been fined 600 dollars .. and ordered to pay for the vehicle repairs.

WADE CHRISTIAN MCDONALD from the inner-city suburb of Highgate .. today pleaded guilty
to disorderly conduct and damaging property .. after mobbing the PM's car as he left the
Liberal Party state conference in Perth.

MCDONALD was one of about 200 people protesting against the war in Lebanon outside the conference.
