Ziff Davis sells Enterprise Group for $150 million.(LAUNCHES & ACQUISITIONS)(acquired by Insight Venture Partners)

Insight Venture Partners, a New York-based private equity and venture capital firm specializing in software and Internet investments, has acquired Ziff Davis' Enterprise Group for $150 million in cash. The Enterprise Group produces online content, lead-generation services, custom events and publications serving the tech industry. The deal is subject to certain adjustments, which may include an earn-out of up to $10 million in cash based on the performance of the company. In addition to Web sites and magazines, the Enterprise Group also produces corporate events for its advertisers. Ziff Davis Media is an integrated media company serving the technology and video game markets.
